The First Offshore Wind Power Pilot Project in Guangdong Province "Zhuhai Guishan Offshore Wind Power Station Demonstration Project" was offically started on Sept 8th, 2016.This project connected the three micro-grids of Dong’ao Island, Guishan Island and Dawanshan Island with the main network on land through the wind power project at sea and the power grid interconnection project at the islands. This project is of great significance to promote the localization of offshore wind power equipment, the selection of offshore fan and the innovation of construction technology. This project also has great reference significance to solve the similar power supply problem on islands.
As an independent third-party testing agency, Zugo was honored to to participate in the completion test of three 26/35kV submarine cable circuits in this demonstration project.
